- Impasse
- Standing aside
- Being not in unity

- The role of the clerk
- Preparing the agenda
- The use of committees
- Conflict
- Options if unity is not apparent
- Techniques for contributing to a climate of safety/bravery
- Discernment
Leader Experience
Since 2006, I have led dozens of discussions in small group settings on various Quaker topics. I co-facilitated this workshop with Arthur Larrabee five times in 2018-2020 as a transition. I have now facilitated this workshop on my own a dozen times since then. I have also facilitated a 2 hour workshop “Clerking by Zoom” which I have led multiple times. Elements of that workshop will be incorporated into this longer workshop.
