How do I know which workshops are full?
After Early Registration (April 3-16, 2023), the workshops page is updated weekly to show which workshops have filled. When you register, you may discover that some workshops have filled since the webpage was updated.
Follow the directions for modifying your registration.
When you arrive at the Gathering, go to the Workshop Changes table. The workshops committee will have up-to-date registration information for all workshops.
If you are attending the Gathering online, you can change your Virtual Gathering workshop after the event has begun, but only to a workshop that allows part time attendance. You can use the process above to modify your registration.
Workshops which are full do not display in the registration form.
Workshops which are not open to your age group do not display on the registration form.
If you are registering after the Gathering has begun, only those workshops that are open to you will display.
Because we offer many workshops at the Gathering and because we have a small staff, we are unable to maintain waitlists for workshops. Here is how to get into a currently Full workshop:
Monitor the Gathering workshops webpage. When the workshop you want no longer shows as FULL, follow our directions for modifying your registration to go in and switch your workshop. You can also email or call Gathering staff to request a change. We will then get back to you in a couple days to confirm whether or not you have been moved into your desired workshop. (Because workshop assignments are not instantaneous, if the web shows that a workshop is not full this does NOT guarantee that there will still be room open for you when you enter your registration or contact us.)
The Gathering offers many dozens of workshops at the Gathering and, because we have a small staff, we are unable to maintain waitlists for workshops.
