FGC is committed to pioneering new initiatives that share Quaker faith and practice with newcomers.

This year, FGC is here with #QuakerValentines, a social media-based campaign to share love and a good sense of humor this Valentine’s Day.

It’s hard to believe that it has been almost ten years since a first Godly Play® training with Quakers was hosted by Philadelphia Yearly Meeting.

We send you greetings from the Friends General Conference Central Committee, meeting Tenth Month 16-19, 2014 at Pearlstone Retreat Center in Reisterstown, Maryland.

FGC is pleased to announce this year’s Quaker Voluntary Service (QVS) Volunteer, Sonali Kumar.

Central Committee is the governing body of FGC and guides our organization’s work. Committee members came together in Maryland from October 16th to 19th to reflect and move forward on key initiatives.

This year, the Gathering of Friends took place June 29 to July 5 at CALU in California, PA.

FGC’s Ministry on Racism Program hosted a Gathering for Friends of Color and adults parenting children of color, whether parents by birth or by adoption, from October 31st – November 1st, 2014.

During Gathering, the FGC offices and Quakerbooks bookstore hours will change dramatically.

Woodbrooke Quaker Study Centre has launched two new online postgraduate programs in Quakerism that Friends can study no matter where they are in the world!

All FGC websites have been secure and continue to be secure, including the Quaker Cloud and QuakerBooks. We were not affected by the Heartbleed bug.
