FGC recommends the following tip for newcomers to the Quaker faith: Learn about K-12 Quaker schools.

Quakers believe that each person has the capacity for goodness and a responsibility to attain that goodness. At the 76 different Friends K-12 schools in the U.S., students learn that all of life is sacred and resonates with meaning. Schools teach the SPICES, conflict transformation, and a genuine regard for all in the community.

In many areas, Quaker schools and Quaker camps provide children with the values of peacemaking in an increasingly violent world.
