FGC is committed to holding in-person events.
The decisions and actions of each individual impact those around us. Although we can’t completely eliminate the chance of spreading COVID-19, we can significantly lower the risk of contagion. FGC’s COVID Pandemic Health & Safety Policy is intended to break the spread of the virus and to provide a safe and joyous environment for all to live, work, worship, and play together.
FGC firmly believes that to prioritize the health and safety of all of our community members, we must each:
❖ Commit to following the rules and requirements outlined in the FGC’s COVID Pandemic Health & Safety Policy, including:
- Take two COVID tests before leaving home (one test 24-48 hours before your travel day, and one on the day you travel.)*
- Report any positive pre-event test results to FGC and cancel your registration
- When you arrive, take a rapid test (provided by FGC)*
- For staff and volunteers working with children under the age of two: take a rapid test each morning (provided by FGC)
- Be prepared to leave the event if a COVID test result is positive
- Mask using N95, KN95, or KN94 during indoor full-group programs at YAY Gathering, including All-Ages Worship and Evening Programs. In other public spaces masking is encouraged, but not required, unless someone asks you to.
- Vaccinations for event attendees over the age of six months are recommended but not required.
*Testing is optional for attendees two and under.
❖ Recognize that our decisions and actions on a daily basis may have consequences not only for ourselves but for others in our community.
FGC staff and selected volunteers have the responsibility and authority to enforce compliance with FGC’s COVID Health & Safety Policy.
