Registration is now open for the FGC Gathering!

This is a friendly reminder that June 1 is the deadline to register children and youth for the 2026 Gathering. June 1 is also the last day to register for the Pre-Gathering Retreat for People of Color. Here’s more about these two programs:

The Pre-Gathering Retreat for People of Color and Their Families

The Pre-Gathering Retreat gives People of Color time to anchor together before the Gathering begins. You can learn more about it here. The retreat is hybrid, but note: the Gathering itself (July 7-12) is in-person only. The Pre-Gathering Retreat runs from July 6-7. It starts with lunch on Monday and ends with lunch on Tuesday. You can register for the Pre-Gathering Retreat by filling out the regular registration form for the Gathering.

Children and Youth Programs

Children and Youth Programs include Junior Gathering, which is for young people from birth to eighth grade, and the High School Program. Junior Gathering offers programming during the morning workshops, so parents are free to attend workshops. Junior Gathering staff offer quiet, centering activities for parts of All-Gathering Worship so children experience the benefits of settling their minds and bodies.

The High School Program has its own dorm, Business Meetings, and closing ceremonies at the end of Gathering. High School students may attend Gathering workshops in the mornings. They may also spend time with Junior Gathering Friends if they prefer.

Both Junior Gathering and the High School Program are led by dedicated and talented staff. They prioritize youth empowerment, they teach Quaker values through hands-on experiences, and, of course, they focus on age-appropriate activities. The June 1 deadline gives youth workers time to create thoughtful programs for this year’s group of youth.

2026 FGC Gathering of Friends

The 2026 Gathering will be July 7-12, 2026 in Burlington, Vermont. The Gathering is open to Friends, their families, and newcomers.
