FGC recommends the following tip for newcomers to the Quaker faith: Learn more about the Black Quaker Project.

The BlackQuaker Project, established and led by Dr. Harold D. Weaver, Jr., is an organization that celebrates the lives and contributions of Quakers of Color worldwide and documents and addresses their concerns. It is held under the care of Wellesley Friends Meeting in Massachusetts. The ministry is guided by Quaker testimonies of Truth, Peace, Equality, Community and Justice.
