Meet Your Staff: Rachel Ernst Stahlhut
Meet Rachel Ernst Stahlhut, FGC’s Program Coordinator for the Spiritual Deepening program!
After traveling among meetings across North America as a QuakerQuest facilitator and listening to the stories of hundreds of Friends, Rachel discerned a leading to support individuals and meetings toward deeper spiritual connection and engagement. She has traveled in the ministry with a focus on inreach and building spiritual community and she is thrilled now to be working with Friends General Conference to coordinate the Spiritual Deepening Program.
Rachel found her way to Quakers through the Belief-O-Matic online quiz in 2002. She finds great meaning in the Quaker values of community, personal spiritual practices, and faithful discernment and she hopes the Spiritual Deepening Program can provide Friends and newcomers with a deeper understanding of their own spiritual journeys and their personal and collective ministries to heal this troubled world.
Rachel lives in Cincinnati with her husband Brad and their toddler Oliver, and she is a member of Community Friends Meeting (OVYM). Her two feline interns keep her company while she works in her home office.
