Workshop Description

Build intergenerational spiritual community with Quaker Voluntary Service (QVS)! In this workshop we will offer frameworks and tools to shape your individual and collective experience and that you can bring to spiritual communities you belong to elsewhere. The workshop is modeled after the QVS Fellowship year and will include activities and concepts that guide the QVS experience.

Every year, QVS leads young adults in an experiment at the intersection of service, community, and spiritual exploration. We guide Fellows through curated experiences to learn more about themselves, their house community and spirit-led work. In this workshop, we will guide participants through a similar process of exploration and deepening through group and individual activities. At the end of this workshop, participants will have an understanding of what the QVS experience is like for Fellows. We also hope for participants to be revitalized in their spiritual and vocational path and to take part in activities that they might share with their home meetings and other groups.
