Central Philadelphia Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends is a large, urban Quaker meeting, diverse in many ways, and we welcome visitors throughout the year.

  • We worship by gathering and silently waiting for the Spirit to guide us.
  • We celebrate diversity and welcome people from all walks of life. We are a welcoming and affirming congregation for LGBTQ people.
  • We are also involved in various activities to further peace and social justice.

What's New

This is how to reserve space at Friends Center for CPMM meetings and events.

The POWER coalition is mindful that this is the sad 50th anniversary of the murder of Martin Luther King, Jr. on April 4, 1968.

Prayers of the Cosmos, Neil Douglas-Klotz’s book from 1990, invites the reader to get to know Jesus a little better.
