Spiritual Journey eRetreat Encourages All Travelers

Friends build a vulnerable and brave space for spiritual growth.

The latest Spiritual Deepening eRetreat, “Quaker Tools for the Spiritual Journey,” held its last session on May 19. In a nurturing environment, 25 people helped each other to build community and implement Quaker practices. Folks created a space for acceptance, love, and grace. The variety of life experiences helped everyone to grow. One person shared:

“I appreciated the course content and felt like I was opening up a gift whenever a section was released. The members of the workshop felt comfortable to share their souls. It was a powerful and intimate time.”

Seekers supported each other emotionally and spiritually, even while following their own individual journeys. People also shared that they had fun and experienced joy! Yana Landowne facilitated with her delightfully welcoming and caring presence. Yana helped everyone, especially newcomers, to feel safe and to ask questions. With Yana’s help, the group formed a vulnerable and brave space that supported deep listening. Indeed, Friends created the kind of listening space that lends itself well to mutual aid.
