QuakerBooks & More of FGC Welcomes New Staff Member!

FGC is pleased to welcome Audrey Greenhall to its bookstore, QuakerBooks & More!

Update: Audrey Greenhall is now FGC’s Bookstore Manager of QuakerBooks. The QuakerBooks store on Pendle Hill’s campus closed in late 2017.  Visit QuakerBooks.org to learn more about our improved service model.

This summer, QuakerBooks & More welcomed Audrey Greenhall as its new Fulfillment Clerk! Audrey is working with Bookstore Manager Samantha Wilson to help complete orders received from customers online, from a single pamphlet to hundreds of books for Yearly Meeting consignment orders. Audrey also serves F/friends at the store located on Pendle Hill‘s campus in Wallingford and at FGC’s annual Gathering.

“I am enjoying being introduced to a wonderful range of thought-provoking reading material, and being at Pendle Hill,” Audrey said of her work at the bookstore.

Before she came to QuakerBooks & More, Audrey worked as an attorney for the City of Philadelphia for almost ten years. She’s been “momming” since then, and for seven years has worked part-time as a historical guide for Centipede Tours in Philadelphia.  (Look for her in costume.)

When she’s not “schlepping boxes of books” (as she affectionately describes her service to F/friends), Audrey enjoys cooking, baking, tending to her garden, as well as Philadelphia and old cities in general.

“In my next life I’ll live in Florence – Italy, not New Jersey. Though Jersey has some wonderful places, too,” she said.

Audrey is also proud of her volunteer work at Arch Street Meeting House, which began first as a meeting member and guide. Now, she is a board member of Arch Street’s preservation trust.

Please join us in welcoming Audrey to QuakerBooks & More and FGC!
