Sponsorship Initiative

Since 2024, FGC has been exploring Gathering sponsorships. We invite Quaker organizations, businesses, and other organizations in line with Quaker values to consider sponsoring FGC’s annual Gathering. This is a great opportunity to increase awareness of your organization among Friends through a partnership with FGC. There are multiple sponsorship levels to choose from. All levels allow FGC’s network of Friends to learn about your organization in advance of the event.

Audience

FGC has been holding the annual Gathering for over 120 years. Attendance has varied from 550 – 2000 participants with average attendance currently at 1000 participants. Audience for this year’s Gathering:

  • 600 – 800 (expected) Quaker participants from across North America.
  • 10,000+ reached via email and mail promotion.
  • 50% of participants are 65+ years old. 20% are 50 – 64 years old.

Presenting Sponsor $12,500

Supporting Sponsor $7,500

Why Sponsorships?

The Gathering continues to be a sought-after event with close to 1000 Friends attending annually to be together in spiritual community. However, the costs of putting on the event continue to increase exponentially. Raising registration fees creates barriers for many potential attendees. Therefore, we are seeking other avenues to increase income and keep registration fees down. Event sponsorship is one way to address this challenge.
