The Traveling Ministries Program
Traveling in the ministry among Quakers today means visiting individuals and meetings to:
- Listen
- Be fully present to others
- Respond to the Spirit's nudges
- Carry & share a message as led by God
- Encourage others to faithfulness
- Nurture the spiritual lives of meetings and individuals
- Serve as a companion to a Friend traveling in the ministry.
The Traveling Ministries Program provides direct services to meetings and worship groups, by supporting Quakers who travel in the ministry.
Traveling Ministries also seeks to help connect meetings who wish to receive a visitor with Quakers who are traveling in the ministry, and to help monthly meetings provide support for their members who travel in the ministry.
