At the March 1 First First discussion, Felice Lopez and Chris Miller shared their experiences traveling with Puente de Amigos https://neym.org/committees/puente-de-amigos to Puerto Padre Friends Church to help with renovations to the attached school. They were able to bring in tools, medical supplies, cash, a guitar and art supplies to help build community and work on the renovation project. It was a great opportunity to experience a variety of modes of Quaker worship and to get acquainted with Friends in Cuba. Opportunities exist for Framingham Friends Meeting to build a sister church relationship with a congregation in Cuba.
