How Do I Request Personal Financial Assistance From Meeting?
Members and attenders of Madison Meeting may request assistance for a personal emergency or to offset the cost of attending a course, retreat or event that will be spiritually enriching for the individual and/or the Meeting. To initiate a request for assistance, contact a member of the Finance Committee. For non-emergency requests, allow 5-8 weeks for consideration by Finance Committee and, in some cases, Meeting for Business. Emergency requests will be handled as expeditiously as possible, and may be made by the individual needing help or by another person aware of a member or attender’s dire circumstances. Requests will be handled confidentially. Those in need who are not members or attenders of the Meeting will be directed to appropriate community resources.
