Beginning the first Wednesday in March (March 7), we plan a second six week series of Quaker Queries. These Queries are designed to help participants become more self-aware and to build community. Participants answer queries such as “What is our attitude toward our faults or imperfections and how have we tried to deal with them?”  We speak only from our own experiences, one at a time, in strictest confidence, without commentary, listening deeply to others without back-and-forth discussion. The purpose is not to try to resolve other people’s problems.

Those who participated in the 2017 series found the process to be powerful, that it strengthened both the bonds between people and their commitment to Quaker testimonies. Those who were able to attend regularly through the six-week session found that the process builds on itself. However, people are encouraged to come as to as many sessions as they are able.
