Meeting Resource

Worship sharing, also called worship-sharing, is a contemplative Quaker practice. The people gathered focus on a particular question and speak from their own experience with thoughtful pauses. Worship sharing can draw Friends into sacred space. Rather than debating or replying, we can take down our usual defenses and encounter each other in “that which is eternal.”

The guidelines for worship sharing have been evolving among Friends for the past half century, drawing on a number of different sources. Click under “Files” below to download suggested guidelines from Friends General Conference.
