Talk to a Newcomer in Your Meeting

Make time during fellowship to have conversations with attenders who are newer to your meeting.  If you doing this activity as a group, you may want to plan who will talk to which newcomer so that the newcomers are not inundated with conversations on the same topic.

• What has made them feel welcome at meeting?
• What would have made it easier to become part of the meeting community?
• Asking newer attenders to engage with this topic may be uncomfortable. To avoid putting Friends on the spot you may choose to invite these conversations by making an announcement after worship about the Weaving a Wider Welcome group activities.
