The Practitioners of Musick featuring John Burkhalter, recorders, and Donovan Klotzbeacher, harpsichord, perform a tribute to George Clymer, one of that courageous group of patriots who signed the Declaration of Independence. He was a founder of the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and shared musical interest with Charles Willson Peale. George Clymer, a lifelong Philadelphian, died in Morrisville and is buried in the Trenton Friends Meeting burial ground. Event ends at 4:00 pm and is free. Light refreshments to follow.
