Program: Creating Vessels for Lament with Angela York Crane

How can our Monthly Meetings help to fashion and hold vessels for lament?

From Angela:

"Lament, an external expression of grief and disappointment, created through vulnerability with ourselves, others and the Divine, is a perennial spiritual practice in many faith communities. In this workshop, we will experientially explore personal lament, and use the personal lament to move us into communal lament. We will take time to pursue the Heart of the universe saying "I weep with you" and explore embodying that knowing in our Meetings for Worship."

Angela York Crane is a certified  Spiritual Director/Companion in the Jungian Mystical Christain Wisdom tradition. She is also a Registered Yoga Teacher withYoga Alliance, a certified grief specialist and small group leader for trauma survivors. She is often asked to serve as an elder for Quaker workshops and consultations.

Child care is available on request. Contact Trevor Johnson at [email protected] to request it.
