Pride on Wheels 2.0

Join Memphis Friends at 1:00 at Blyth and Walker to decorate cars and prep for Pride on Wheels! Here is the welcome message we received when we registered:

Thanks for participating in our Pride on Wheels Caravan event!

We will meet at the corner of Blyth and Walker in Cooper-Young where First Congo Church is located Sunday, May 30th, and start lining up in the parking spots and along the streets at 1 PM. Please stay in your car and someone will come and check-in with you. We will start the caravan at 2 PM. We will caravan through Midtown and end in Downtown. Masks are required if you get out of your vehicle. Social distance standards of 6ft separation must be observed.

The Route - We will step off at 2 PM down Blyth towards Young, left on Young, down Young to Cooper make a right, down Cooper to Union, make a left, down Union to Danny Thomas, make a left, to Beale St make a right, the landing area is just passed 4th where the New Daisy is, keep going down Beale St till it ends at 2nd and Beale.

We will be recording the caravan and broadcasting it on June 5th as part of Memphis Pride Live and in Color Virtual Experience.

There is a landing spot on the parade route. When you get in front of the New Daisy on Beale St, you can stop and perform (2 mins max), do something special, be creative, but remember that this is a family-friendly event. Please confirm back with us that you want to participate in the Landing Spot Secret!
