Recently Emily Yellin joined Friends for a Meeting for Learning to share stories of her mother, Carol Lynn Yellin, who co-authored the book The Perfect 36, telling of Tennessee's role in the ratification of the 19th Amendment. Emily's mother and father were among those who attended the first meeting of Memphis Friends Meeting and who signed the charter that now hangs over the piano in the meeting room.
