Spring Has Arrived! 

It was a pleasure to worship in the meetinghouse without being wrapped tightly in a blanket, but it is still cool inside. So, when I got home from meeting, I took a walk around my yard to soak in the sun, and there were the first signs of spring. The Roe Jan (formally the Roeliff Jansen Kill) is high with snow melt. The day lilies were just poking through the soil. The snowdrops are plentiful. The snowdrops are a welcome favorite, as they symbolize HOPE, something we need after a living a year with a global pandemic, on top of all the other social and environmental ills we live with daily.
