Frederick Friends committed several years ago to support Crop Hunger Walks.
The annual fundraising walk, created by Church World Service, supports U.S.
hunger-fighting organizations, access to safe water, and help for families
who can grow their own food. Walking to raise support symbolizes those who
must walk, sometimes many miles every day, for their food and potable
water.
 
The walk this year will take place on October 21 at 1:30 pm. In the past,
FFM has had several walkers; f/Friends donated to support our walkers; and
we had a respite table for walkers on the street in front of our Meeting
House during the event.
 
I am writing to ask, first, if anyone this year is planning to participate
