Friends General Conference is embracing a new governance structure designed for today’s needs and tomorrow’s possibilities. Instead of one large committee meeting just once a year, FGC will be guided by a smaller Governing Board, a Representatives Council, and our volunteer committees. This structure allows us to make decisions with integrity, improve communication across our community, and ensure that the voices of Friends of Color, LGBTQ+ Friends, and younger Friends are at the heart of our leadership.
