Event Description

The Poetry, Spirit, & You workshop invites you to experiment with words as a way to deepen your connection with your Inner Guide.

No writing or poetry experience necessary. Just bring yourself and writing materials.

In Poetry, Spirit, & You you will:

  • Engage each week with works from an array of poets, and with inspiring quotes and images from poets and others.
  • Check in weekly and receive feedback (if you like) about ongoing work or other writing needs as you build your body of work.
  • Explore the power of the “process note,” in which you ponder your experience of each exercise.
  • Give and receive kind support in a warm, inclusive community of both beginners and seasoned writers.
  • Nurture a consistent writing practice, and explore new ways of being and creating.

Program Details

  • This Poetry, Spirit, & You workshop occurs every Wednesday from 2/4/26 through 3/11/26, at 3-5pm ET / 12-2pm PT. Participants are encouraged to be at every session, but it is also alright to miss a session(s).
  • The suggested pay-as-led** registration fee for this series is $50.
**Pay-as-Led is a method of offering sliding scale pricing so that paid events are more accessible for people with a wide range of abilities to pay. Participants choose how much to pay for the registration fee.
  • The facilitator will lead this eRetreat using Zoom. During these calls, participants will have the opportunity to reflect on the content, worship together, do additional writing exercises, and build connections with one other.

Have you participated in past Poetry as Spiritual Practice sessions? This is similar in style, in that the content is new every time, but the structure is closer to an eRetreat with sessions six weeks in a row with the same group of people. We welcome you to join us!

Poetry, Spirit, & You will be facilitated by Gay Norton Edelman
