Plainfield Friends Meeting (NEYM)

203 Martin Meadow Road
Plainfield, VT 05667

Plainfield Monthly Meeting is located along the Winooski River in Plainfield, Vermont. We are an un-programmed Meeting for Worship. We sit together in silence for an hour during which time people may be moved to speak. At the rise of Meeting we have a rich period of sharing, introductions, and brief announcements.
EVERYONE is welcome to attend this Quaker Meeting for Worship. We welcome individuals from a wide range of religious traditions and practices, and are affirming of diverse genders, ethnicities, racial identification, sexual orientation and beliefs, and children of all ages As founder George Fox put it, ”We walk cheerfully over the world, answering that of God in everyone.” Come join in if you are curious, looking for a spiritual home or visiting the area.
Other Events: Typically there is a potluck once a month after Meeting, before an optional business meeting. There is often a monthly program of general interest, and someone looking for a smaller sharing group may join the Seekers and Finders Group .
