Worship Room: A large room located on the first floor with windows on three sides that is furnished with benches. Capacity: 120 seated on benches.

Gathering Room: A cozy room located on the first floor with a fireplace that looks out onto the lawn, edge of the old quarry, and the edge of Fairmount Park. The room is furnished with Windsor chairs and benches. Capacity: 20

Social Room: A large room with exposed wooden trusses and windows facing Fairmount Park, the room is a perfect place to host larger events, meetings and receptions. Capacity: 96 seated at round tables or 150 seated auditorium style.

FoyerAs your group enters our meetinghouse the participants will find an inviting foyer where you might have a registration table, information about your event, and room for your participants to greet old friends. Easels with directions to other parts of the meetinghouse are available for you to customize signage and instruction.

Kitchen: A state-of-the art kitchen with gas cooktop, two ovens, large refrigerator, commercial dishwasher and more than 200 square feet of stainless steel counter tops. Capacity: 15 standing and working (no seating).

Committee Room: A quiet room with a table and arm chairs located on the first floor. Capacity: 12 auditorium style; 6 seated at a table.

First Day School Rooms: Classrooms located on the second floor (accessible by elevator). The rooms are minimally furnished to allow for different activities. Folding chairs and a table are available for use on the second floor.

We have three rooms this size: First Day School Rooms 1 and 2 and First Day School Room 3. Capacity: 12 in each room (or 20 if the pocket doors between rooms 1 and 2 is opened).

Please read the following information and forms  before you rent the Meetinghouse so that you will understand what you can expect from us and what we expect from you.

  5. Parking Map:  Parking is limited in the Meetinghouse Lot, but additional parking is nearby.
  6. Inclement Weather Information:  You may want to postpone an event if snow is forecast.

The meetinghouse also features the following:

Considerations as You Decide to Rent
  • No alcolhol consumption is allowed in the meetinghouse or on its grounds
  • No open flames (ie candles) are allowed
  • Assist animals are welcomed, but do not bring pets or other animals into the Meetinghouse or grounds
  • You must remove your trash and recycled materials
  • If you decide to proceed with an event during a snowstorm, you or members of your party must manage snow removal during an event (if it snows 2" or more, the lot and sidewalks will be cleared by a plow service within 4 hours after the snow stops)
Considerations for Cancelling Your Event because of Inclement Weather (Especially Snow)

If you are renting space at the Meetinghouse, please be aware of the following and factor this information into your decision whether to cancel your event because of the weather.

  • Parking is at least 20-yards from the front door.
  • The staff present during the event will not shovel snow or spread ice melt before or during your event.
  • Snow will be removed within four hours after snow event ending with two inches or more. Our plow service works day and night. The service arrives within four hours after the snow stops falling.
  • We have one or two shovels and a bucket of ice melt crystals by the entrances that you can use if you want to do some snow cleanup for yourselves.
  • We suggest that you ask members of your party to bring shovels if you are going to shovel for yourselves.
