Colorado Regional Meeting (CRM) Fall Gatheringat the YMCA of the Rockies, Estes Park, Friday evening–Sunday noon, October 19–21. Registration begins end of August. Look for forms at the meetinghouse, or register online then. Adult program to be decided. Separate children’s, teens’, and childcare programs, so families are encouraged to attend. Though rates for room and board have increased due to the earlier date, the CRM planning committee is supporting requests for funds.
Members of the Capital Campaign team have been listening hard to voices in our community. What we have heard is that most people would like to have a sabbatical from discussion about the future of the Meeting House beyond what is needed to support the agreed-upon revitalization work on the exterior and interior of the building.I n the coming months, $50,000 needs to be raised from our community, which will be matched by $50,000. We are initiating a Quiet Campaign. We will not be burdening community members with training or visits, and we will not be making loud calls for pledges. We will rely on members of the community to step forward, now that we have come to a decision on what to do to improve our worship and community space. We have faith that this calm approach will be sufficient to meet our current goal, and we feel that this simple solution allows us to act in integrity with the current desires of the community, not to raise more money than we need at this time.
This year's Colorado Women's Retreat will take place March 13-15 at Highlands Presbyterian Camp.
It will be a special time with Quaker women from throughout Colorado, talking about personal issues and learning from one another.

Scholarships may be available from the MVFM Meeting and by requesting on the registration form.
This year's theme: Friends, Trust and the True Self: What’s all the buzz about Circles of Trust?
BACK AGAIN for a Limited Run! Quaker Studies will begin at 9 AM on Sat. morning, January 3rd, 2015 in our Meetinghouse! EVERYONE is welcome. We’ll be looking at some of our Quaker stories - how they got started and what’s kept them alive without clergy for over 350 years. We’ll share from our own experiences together and in small groups. How we make decisions, where the testimonies come from are all pieces of who we are. Come join us - those who have been around a long time and those new to us are all welcome & make for a great mix.

So far we have raised $130,000 of our $250,000 goal!
Thank you so much to everyone who has already so generously made a gift to the Phase One Fund. Our friendly teams will be visiting as many meeting members and attendees as possible over the next few months, so we hope that if you get a phone call asking for a visit to discuss your dream for the meeting house, you will take them up on the opportunity.
