FGC is offering an event this October in Philadelphia, PA for anyone who is interested in learning more about the Religious Society of Friends. Experiencing the Light is an interactive workshop with a Pay-What-You-Can registration fee.

The September issue of Vital Friends, FGC’s monthly email newsletter, features Religious Education resources to help parents and teachers nurture the spiritual lives of children, plus an update from the Anti-Racism Implementation Group.

This Fall, FGC is organizing fellowship and learning opportunities for Friends and anyone is or wants to become active in the Quaker community, including:

  • The Understanding and Healing White Supremacy eRetreat – an online communal learning course from the Spiritual Deepening Program, beginning September 22nd, 2019 (limited to 25 participants).
  • The Fall Regional Retreat for Friends of Color and their Families – a community-building retreat for Friends of Color and their immediate family members happening in Chicago, IL from Friday, November 8th to Sunday, November 10th, 2019.
  • Weaving a Wider Welcome eRetreat – the final Spiritual Deepening eRetreat for 2019, begins October 27th, 2019.
