Fees Described

Every in-person attender pays three fees:

  • a Program Fee
  • a Lodging and Campus Fee
  • a Meal Plan Fee (optional for commuters)

Children on the floor must bring their bedroll, pillow, and towel.

Attenders may choose to purchase t-shirts during registration. T-shirts will be able to be purchased in advance of the Gathering on a print-on-demand website – the link will be posted here once it is live.

2022 Program Fees

The YAY program fee is $100. This includes Junior Gathering, High School, Adult Youth Friends, and Adult Friends programming.

2022 Lodging & Campus Fees

“Double” refers to a single bed in shared room with two beds.

2022 Pre-Gathering Meals (Monday dinner 7/4 – Wednesday lunch 7/6)

Those who are otherwise on campus starting Monday night 7/4, will be able to purchase individual meals at the cafeteria. See single meal prices below. Pre-gathering meals for Junior Gathering & High School staff will be covered.

Attenders staying off-campus will be able to purchase individual meals at the cafeteria. Any pre-Gathering meals (before Wednesday dinner) will also be at these prices. (Check back for prices)

*Sample rates assume shared non-a/c rooms and a three-meal per day meal plan. We assume children 11 and under will have the floor rate.

Payments and Deposits

Deposits: The minimum deposit is the Program Fee(s) for your party (or for children and teens, their housing fee), due when you register. However, if you are applying for financial aid from your meeting or from FGC, a deposit is due one week after you learn of aid granted. Deposits and other payments may be made by credit/debit card, electronic check, or paper check. FGC pays twice the fees for reward cards – whenever possible, avoid Visa Signature Preferred and Mastercard World Cards.

International Payments: Payments made in other currencies besides US dollars will be credited with the prevailing exchange rate at our financial institution on the day of deposit.

Cancellation Fees

  • Cancellation must be in writing (mail or email)
  • Cancel before June 17: incur a charge of $45 per person ($125 maximum per family.) See our full cancellation policy for exceptions – Friends offered financial aid have one week after the offer to cancel without a fee.
  • Cancel after June 17: 75% of all fees will be owed even if you do not attend the YAY Gathering.

COVID Cancellation Fee Waived: Friends who have been diagnosed with COVID, or have someone close to them diagnosed with COVID, or who are experiencing COVID symptoms, or have been exposed to COVID, will not be charged a cancellation fee. 

Additional Fees

  • College fees for lost room keys and swipe access/meal cards, room damages, and lockouts will be charged to the registrant.
  • Returned check fees will be charged to the registrant.
