Jenny Chapman - Mountain Valley Pipeline Resistance

When Jenny Chapman moved to Bent Mountain, VA, forty-five years ago, she thought she had found a little piece of paradise in the Blue Ridge mountains. Now the massive fracked-gas Mountain Valley Pipeline threatens the water, inhabitants, and environment along its 303 mile proposed route through West Virginia and Southern Virginia. For more than 5 years, she has been part of an active community of resisters. Using a variety of means including direct action, they continue to stand in the way of its construction. Jenny is a member of Roanoke Monthly Meeting in Roanoke, VA.
