Event Description

The Building a Meaningful and Connected Life eRetreat delves into the profound spirituality of meaning-making, resilience, renewal, and life transitions. Through contemplative practices and insightful discussions, we navigate the rich tapestry of growing older at any age, embracing its spiritual gifts across the lifespan. Join us as we explore the depths of personal growth, connection, and purpose, fostering a deeper understanding of what it means to lead a truly meaningful and connected life.

I loved learning about the struggles and life experiences of the people several generations younger. I am in awe of their dedication, spiritual strength during these times. It helped me find more meaning and courage in my own life.

Community Building Calls

Each week, the facilitator will lead Community Building Calls using Zoom. During these calls, participants will have the opportunity to reflect on the eRetreat content, worship together, do additional eRetreat exercises, and build connections with each other.

The Building a Meaningful and Connected Life eRetreat will be facilitated by Yana Landowne.

She serves as a NYYM Aging Resources Consultation Help (ARCH) Outreach Coordinator, workshop facilitator, and co-developer of the mentorship program for Young Adult Friends. She is a member of Brooklyn Monthly Meeting where she clerks the Welcoming Committee and facilitates art activism groups. Passionate about interactive performance and art activism, Yana encourages radical self-expression and empowerment through creativity. She is a professional theater director, interactive artist, art activist, and is very involved with the Extinction Rebellion community.
