2027 Gathering Kickoff Pep Rally!

Do you love attending the FGC Gathering? Do you want to be involved in planning and co-creating this amazing event? Are you ready to get excited about the activities scheduled for July 13-18, 2027 at Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois?

Join us to celebrate the kickoff of the 2027 Gathering planning season!

We’ll hear from the Gathering Clerking Team about their vision for the event and the 2027 theme, Bearing Witness in Word and Deed.

We’ll share the planning timeline and milestones, including key dates and exciting news about registration.

We’ll discuss ways you can get involved in co-creating the Gathering — through planning committees, volunteer roles, and one-off tasks.

You’ll leave with info and talking points that you can share with Friends in your meetings or wider communities.

The goal of this kickoff event is to share information and get everyone on the same page. We hope you’ll join us!

This is a free event and open to all — whether you’re a long-time Gathering volunteer or someone who is curious to peek behind the scenes as we plan next summer’s event.
