Friends General Conference

Nurturing faith and Quaker practice

Workshops offer Gathering attenders the opportunity to be immersed in a topic with other interested Friends. Attenders stay in the same workshop throughout the week, helping form a mini-community within the Gathering. Each workshop meets from 9:00-11:45 AM each weekday. Most workshops include worship or worship-sharing each day.

For couples in a committed relationship, to deepen their capacity for intimacy, communication and humor. Couples will experience authenticity enabling both to explore vulnerability within a supportive community. The workshop offers communication skills built on Friends testimonies, principles, and practices. The goal is enrichment not therapy.

Workshop Number 48 | Dan Mudd | Jaimie Mudd

For couples in committed relationships who want to discover their spiritual depth together.  We will learn the method of the couple dialogue, then practice this form of honest speaking and compassionate listening. We will also use queries, waiting worship, and free writing inviting us to deepen our self-understanding.
