Would you like to become a conflict resolution workshop facilitator?

The Alternatives to Violence Project is seeking facilitators to fill the growing need for the program.

At the end of May we held our first conflict resolution workshop for the women at the Westchester County Jail. We are looking for help in bringing conflict resolution skills to these women.

There are no special qualifications for becoming an AVP facilitator. Becoming an AVP facilitator just involves taking three weekend workshops, A Basic Conflict Resolution Workshop, an Advanced Conflict Resolution Workshop and a Training for Facilitators Workshop.  The first step is to register for an AVP Basic Workshop.

The next Basic Workshop will be held on August 9-11 at Scarsdale Quaker Meetinghouse at 133 Popham Road in Scarsdale. A flyer is attached.
