Bring a dish and join us for fellowship and lunch. Following lunch, each person will think about and work on a contribution to our Meeting's Reflections booklet.

The Meeting's Worship and Ministry Committee is organizing a multi-medium Westtown Meeting Reflections booklet that we hope the Meeting community, both near and far, will contribute to. The booklet will be organized by the following categories so please choose one for your contribution.

    January - Simplicity                              July - Community
    February - Peace                                 August - Equality
    March - Spring Equinox                       September - Fall Equinox
    April - Lent/Passover/Easter                October - Stewardship
    May - Integrity                                      November - Gratitude/Thanksgiving
    June - Summer Solstice                       December - Advent/Winter Solstice/Christmas

For those unable to attend the Feb 10th potluck lunch, contributions to the booklet are welcome in many different forms (ie. a query/extract/advice, a bible verse/chapter/psalm, a poem, a photograph, a picture of a drawing/painting or a hand-crafted project, a short video/song). We are asking that whatever you feel spiritually led to contribute, that unless it is an original piece, you will include a brief personal reflection with your piece. We are encouraging submissions to fit on a single page but will do our best to accommodate a larger contribution. We are also asking that you include your name (a first name is fine if you feel uncomfortable providing your full name) and a title for the Reflection.

At the Feb. 10th potluck lunch, there will be several tables that will have arts & crafts (paper, markers/crayons/paints, fabric, etc.), magazines, a word board and queries, the Bible and Faith and Practice and a few Quaker pamphlets, poetry books, and some sample Reflections to help inspire us. We hope to also video record Friends working away on their pieces and will invite Friends to share a brief description of their work and ideas that will later be assembled and edited into a short video that will also be available on this web site.

Completed Reflections may be given to Ginny Sutton or Tom Haviland or submitted online by either,

1. sending an email (with attachment if there is one) to tom.haviland@gmail.com or
2. by clicking HERE which will open a Google form in a new window where you will be able to add, attach, or copy and paste your work.

Along with putting together a booklet, the contributions will be posted in the Meetinghouse and on this web site. Reflections will be shown in the month of the category. Depending on the number of contributions received for a category, the sharings for a month may be more or less frequent than one a week.

It is the Worship and Ministry committee's hope that Friends can use these Reflections for guidance, inspiration, and joyful wisdom in your life's journey.
