A Message from the Islamic Society of Chester County

It is with deep sorrow and grief that we draft this message, it was only yesterday we were typing a note after the Pittsburgh incident, and then New Zealand and now Sri Lanka. We don’t even get time for the wounds to heal anymore.

We as human beings, as fellow brothers and sisters and as members of the Muslim community reiterate our stand of condemning this and all acts of terrorism.

May God guide us all on the right path, the path of tolerance, acceptance, compassion, justice and equality. The path where all humans respect and love each other regardless of religion, race, color and ethnicity.

May God keep all of us safe and give us the strength to stand united against all forms of injustice and violence and be an advocate for peace and unity amongst mankind.

While we cannot ever try to comprehend what the families of the innocent worshippers are going through, we want them to know we are praying for them and the loved ones they lost and our hearts are hurting just like they were after Pittsburgh and New Zealand.

With love and peace,

Islamic Society of Chester County
