Exploring Quakerism

Public ContentAnyone can view this post

During January and February of 2021 we will be exploring basic concepts embraced by Quakers.  The participants guide is available from the Friends General Conference Bookstore as a downloadable PDF document.  For more information about joining this group please use the "contacct us" button on the homepage or contact Anne Williams.

This course, led by Anne Williams, will use the resource developed by Marsha Holliday Exploring Quakerism. This easy-to-use manual promotes a better knowledge and understanding of Quakerism among unprogrammed Friends. Leaders will appreciate the instructions and supplemental material available in the full version, while the core of the curriculum is in booklet form for participants. Useful both for groups and for self-study, all the basics of Quakerism are covered from George Fox to present day organizations serving the many branches of Friends. Lessons build on one another and each includes a reflection question. A wonderful tool for enriching the lives of Friends both new and old.
