NEW ENGLAND

MAINE

  • Vassalboro Quarterly Meeting - Includes meetings in Maine from Damariscotta and northward.
  • Maine Council of Churches - Working to inspire congregations and persons of faith to unite in good works that build a culture of justice, compassion and peace.
  • Friends Committee on Maine Public Policy - Recently working on Truth and Reconciliation of Native Americans in Maine
  • Vassalboro Fuel Fund - Provides heating oil assistance for low income, disabled community members, and families with children experiencing financial hardship.
  • Release Friends To support the ministries of New England Yearly Meeting Friends, both within and beyond our region.

UNITED STATES

  • Friends General Conference - Provides services and resources for individual Quakers, Quaker meetings and people interested in the Quaker faith and practice.
  • Friends United Meeting - A collection of Christ-centered Quakers at work in local areas and through cross-cultural service.
  • Pendle Hill - A Quaker study, retreat, and conference center welcoming all for Spirit-led learning and community.
  • Friends Committee on National Legislation - Lobbies Congress and the administration to advance peace, justice, opportunity, and environmental stewardship.
  • Quaker Earthcare Witness - A network of Quakers in North America and other like-minded people who are taking spirit-led action to address ecological and social crises from a spiritual perspective.
  • American Friends Service Committee - A Quaker organization that promotes lasting peace with justice, as a practical expression of faith in action.
  • Quaker Voluntary Service - Young adults work full-time in professional positions at community based organizations addressing a wide range of issues, while living in a cooperative house and worshiping with, and being mentored by, local Quakers.
