*www.fcamaine.net/  Maine branch of the Funeral Consumers Alliance, excellent source for Maine information including a price survey of participating Funeral Homes from 2011, Crematoria with prices, body donation etc.

*www.agingwithdignity.org  The website for the Five Wishes booklet which is a document, legal in Maine, where you can state your Health Care Agent, Advanced Directives, plans for your Memorial service etc. The booklet can be purchased from the website or completed on line (or may be available in the VMM library)

Chuck Lakin (207) 873-7854   An excellent source for local information. He and his team will give educational presentations on Home and Green Burials and answer questions.
