“Our life is love, and peace, and  tenderness; and bearing one with another,
  and forgiving one another,  and Not laying accusations against another;
  but praying one for another,  and helping one an other up with a tender hand.”

Children's First Day School

Children are welcome to attend First Day School which is held in collaboration with Community Spirit UCC Church.

Children typically gather with the adults in "silent" worship for the first 5-10 minutes, and then join children from UCC in a classroom down the hall from the meeting room. The children in First Day School are always supervised by two adult volunteers from the Meeting or UCC. Children are invited to share a snack, hear a story, discuss "wondering questions", do a craft, and then play an active game. Lesson ideas are often drawn from the Sparkling Still curriculum.

To ensure adequate staffing and materials, please call Terri at 417-6639 prior to attending with children. Parents will be asked to fill out a permission slip prior to their child's first meeting, so please arrive a few minutes early.
