Since its founding fourteen years ago, Santa Monica Friends Meeting has supported the Friends Women's Association Health Clinic in Burundi, Africa. Casilde Ntamamiro, a Burundian Nurse, started and ran this clinic for many years. From its beginnings, the clinic has grown and flourished.

We are fortunate that Casilde now lives in Southern California. She will be speaking to us about how the clinic continues to serve the community with an emphasis on treating AIDS patients and how we can continue to support this crucial work. Donations will be appreciated.

Please join us in welcoming her, and enjoy an African rice and bean dish, too!
