Adult Ed: Aging In the Light

Tim Vreeland and Judith Searle will read some splendid poems about the "later years." at the Meeting House this coming Sunday, March 5, at noon. 
The program will last about an hour and include accessible poems by classic and contemporary poets including William Shakespeare, Emily Dickinson, William Butler Yeats, Marianne Moore, Czeslaw Miloscz, Dorothy Parker, W.H. Auden, Mary Oliver, Stanley Kunitz, Elizabeth Bishop, Robert Frost, Phyllis McGinley, Galway Kinnell, LucilleClifton, Derek Walcott, Edna St. Vincent Millay, Billy Collins, Jane Kenyon, E.E. Cummings, Gwendolyn Brooks and Stan Searl, among others. 
We hope you'll join us for this special experience of poems ranging from hilarious to heartbreaking, irreverent to profound. 
Please feel free to invite any poetry loving friends you know (aging or not, Quaker or not). The Adult Education committee is pleased to offer outreach through this program to spread the word about the spirit of our Meeting.
