What's New? That's Up To You!

We've made a number of fixes and updates to the Quaker Cloud in recent months (see the article below). But we want to make it even better. To do that, we need your help. We're having planning meeting in two weeks to map out the next two to three years of Quaker Cloud development. You can help us plan by sending us your suggestions for improvements, new features, templates, and more. Send your suggestions or comments to Brent Bill at brentb@fgcquaker.org by February 10th.

What's Been Happening

We just completed our first quarter of having SKYCATCHFIRE provide support and development services. This is going smoothly, with an average response time of 24 hours to support requests. Richelle Houck, who is handling customer support, has worked to clear up a number of lingering issues with the Quaker Cloud, such as password problems and cleaning up up past cases.

Things that Richelle has done include:

• Created sites for new customers. This includes providing support (via phone or email) to site administrators as they populate the site with information.
• Trained administrators on adding members to a meeting.
• Updated various administrators’ permissions so that they can edit cloud pages.
• Sent instructions to meetings on how to redirect a URL for a new domain host.

Additionally, the SKYCATCHFIRE Drupal development team has fixed multiple issues as well. This includes broken pages on mobile/desktop viewers, missing sidebars, and more. They also test how the Quaker Cloud appears in multiple browsers to ensure it looks right. They'll be making other improvements as time goes by.

Stay Tuned
Since the Quaker Cloud has changed in both staffing and operation since it first began, we've been working on updating the "Quaker Cloud Agreement and Contract" and the "Quaker Cloud Data Privacy and Security Policy."  These changes will bring our privacy and security practices into line with current best practices and will ensure a smoother billing process for Quaker Cloud subscriptions.
