Mid-Week Picnic a Rousing Success!

Our first-ever mid-week picnic, hosted by the Program & Outreach Committee, drew over 30 Friends to Providence Meeting on June 17. Given that the organizers planned for no more than 20 people, this event exceeded expectations! Many Friends enjoyed the chance to spend time together, and many also enjoyed hearing about Robin Harper's recent trip to the Galapagos Islands off the coast of Ecuador. Thanks to typical potluck magic, no one left hungry! Plans are already afoot to host another picnic, perhaps later in the summer.
