Mexican Exchange Program

Greetings, Everyone!

 This period of physical separation reinforces the importance of our connections and bonds with each other. We want to lift up a program that for 50 years has strengthened those bonds, bringing students and families together in understanding what ‘global community’ really means.

 Due to COVID, Plymouth Meeting Friends School has altered our plans and invites you to join us for two events recognizing and celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the PMFS Mexican Exchange Program:

 Now: A Virtual Celebration

Join us on Saturday, May 2 from 2:00 to 3:00pm for a Zoom connection. We will share a slideshow of the most recent exchange (see for yourself what is the same and what is different from when you participated), as well as provide opportunities for you to connect with fellow alumni and share your own stories and memories.

 After Thanksgiving: A Live Celebration

We have decided to take advantage of this time when so many people naturally return to the area for our rescheduled event. On Saturday, November 28, we invite you to PMFS to celebrate: enjoy Mexican decorations and food, see the gorgeous and unique Telavela plaque created and gifted to us by Colegio Williams (2-of-a-kind: one in Plymouth Meeting and one in Cuernavaca), get your MexEx50 T-shirt, see photos of your exchange, and of course reconnect!
