Halleluiah!  It’s been more than a year since we’ve gathered for meeting for worship in our lovely meetinghouse on the banks of the Winooski River, and we are excited to open up again for in-person worship starting this coming Sunday, May 23rd, at 10:30 AM.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to worship virtually via Zoom since April 2020, and will be continuing to offer remote worship to all at 8:30 AM, starting this Sunday.  All are welcome to attend either or both of our worship times together.

Those attending in-person meeting for worship are asked to please wear a mask for face covering.  If you haven’t been fully vaccinated, please minimize exposure of yourselves and others when considering where you sit and how you distance yourselves. We’ll have the windows open for air circulation. And, if the weather is good, we will offer both indoor and outdoor seating.

Monthly attention to business, book group meetings, spiritual journey programs, and other after-worship events will continue to be offered virtually on Zoom.  They will be moved from 12:15 PM to 1:00 PM to allow time for Friends to travel home or to another location where they can access the Zoom platform.  We will use the same Zoom link for early meetings for worship and ‘second hour’ events.

These changes are in effect through June, and will be reviewed at our June meeting for worship with concern for business.

We are exploring options to add internet access to the meetinghouse, which would allow us to hold hybrid gatherings including both in-person and virtual attendance.  In the meantime, we look forward to being together in whatever form that takes.

Please feel free to contact us for the Zoom link or with any questions:  PlainfieldVTMeeting@gmail.com.

Blessings,

Carol Dawes
