Brief Description:

Have you ever had a tough conversation that has gone an unwanted way? Are you a party to conversations that need to continue on a deeper level?

If you’ve ever wanted a more effective way of communicating what is in your heart, join us for this experiential workshop. In this advanced introduction to using non-violent approaches to transform difficult conversations, we will explore what happens within us when we find ourselves in emotionally charged situations. We will share and grow in our knowledge of clear expression to move forward together in constructive ways.

Facilitators Laurent Hahn, .O and Carole Singleton will be joined by Terance Jones and Sydney Groll of Maryland, and Adam Tuttle who is interning with the Alternatives to Violence Project (AVP). After a day of learning, listening and interacting, we will gather for a communal meal to reflect and settle together.
